‘Black heart’ was released last month by Stooshe and has since achieved good chart success, peaking at number 3 most recently. What is best about this song, and Stooshe is whilst they are in the genre of pop – ‘Black heart’ isn’t your typical bubble gum stuff, and draws heavy inspiration from the 60′s era.

A mixture of smooth production, raw vocals and themes of cheating are central to ‘Black heart’, and combined with a major label, it’s clear to see why this was such a success! There’s been a mass of girl bands in recent times, and essentially Stooshe are no different. However, they do at least contain integrity and some depth, which is a rare thing in the cynical chart industry of today!
