Step back to 1994 and what you’ll find is a vintage year for hip hop. One of the biggest rap albums ever was the Wu Tang Clan’s ‘Enter the Wu Tang’ and one of its leading singles, ‘C.R.E.A.M’ starred.

Produced by RZA, the acronym means “Cash rules everything around me” which was the songs famous hook which has gone to be sampled various times since. The theme of the song is simple…getting money which has been developed since in rap since the year 1994. Not only this, but the song also hit the mainstream and is considered the Wu’s biggest hit to date. It’s not hard to imagine why, as this is a certified classic.
